About
Tristan Chay won the Swift Student Challenge in 2023 and graduated from Swift Accelerator Programme in 2023. After graduating, he has returned to help out with the programme as a mentor and subsequently became a Trainer, guiding his juniors through the full process of ideating and developing an app that solves a real-world problem.
In 2023, Tristan was named one of five winners from Singapore in Apple’s WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge, part of the 375 global winners that year. Tristan's experience with app development extends beyond just mentoring. He helped to develop CICU Genie, a mobile app designed for the Children's Intensive Care Unit at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. The app helps streamline access to critical medical resources, supporting healthcare professionals in high-pressure situations.
